Owner – Lyn Kerby

Using her wealth of knowledge picked up over 40 years of escrow experience, Southwest Escrow’s owner, Lyn Kerby, assists her customers with all of their escrow needs. Born in Boise, Idaho, Lyn moved to Santa Barbara, California in 1976. Her first job was as a receptionist for First American Title. When a vacancy became available, she received on the job training in the escrow division. This is when the dream of one day owning an escrow company began. During a two year period she was promoted several times which brought me to First American Title of Los Angeles. In addition to assisting in the escrow division she requested training in the customer service department. She also assisted title officers as needed. This experience enhanced her overall knowledge of the real estate industry. In 1979, she decided to pursue my dream and answered an ad posted by Southwest Escrow. Lyn was hired and her dream came true in 1987 when she became an owner of this company. Southwest Escrow specializes in the handling of single family residences, multiple units and commercial properties, business opportunities and the sale of liquor licenses. They are also experienced with large scale contracts. They’ve also been a part of Los Angeles World Airports since 1999 handling their acquisitions and re-locations. When it comes to all aspects of her business, she maintains the concept, “Safe, Efficient and Confidential”.
